(Nasdaq: CPTS), developer of the Essure® non-incisional permanent birth control procedure, today announced that it has accepted an invitation to present at the Adams Harkness 25th Annual Summer Seminar on Thursday, August 4, 2005. Mark Sieczkarek, president and chief executive officer of Conceptus will present at 10:30 a.m. eastern. The seminar will be held at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel in Boston from August 2 through August 4, 2005.

About the Essure Procedure
The Essure procedure deploys a soft micro-insert into the fallopian tube through the cervix using a minimally invasive transcervical tubal access catheter. Once in place, the device is designed to elicit tissue growth in and around the micro-insert to form an occlusion or blockage in the fallopian tube.
